35,000 cut from the Fringe. Ironically enough Front of House has to thank the BC government for sponsoring the Fringe at every show. Sonofabitch.

I really don't understand why the arts are almost universally undervalued, and yet the field of entertainment is enormously successful, and things like American Idol the most successful of all. Where do people think it comes from?
The arts are a fundamental and influential part of human life, and yet things like this happen.
Ugh.
